As a Master Scheduler, I created and maintained schedules for several projects. Responsible for ensuring milestone dates, critical activities and resources are identified and communicated to Project Managers in accordance with established project management office (PMO) procedures and the transmission planning process (TPP), to meet desired in service dates (ISD).

 

§ Develop detailed project schedules with information received from the Project Managers. Perform variance analysis by highlighting baseline vs. actuals.

§ Performing logic analysis and what-if scenario analysis, e.g. the effect of securing funding for long lead items earlier vs. later, to gauge impact on In Service Date (ISD).

§ Liaise with procurement and expeditors to ensure the scheduled delivery dates line up with the Master schedule.

§ Presented status at the weekly project leadership meetings.

§ Arrange and participate in lessons learned sessions at the end of each project phase. Applying learnings from past projects to future projects.
